Mother's Day is a day internationally set aside to highlight the amazing women in our lives who love us no matter what kind of tomfoolery we engage in. So, on this day we thought it'd be great to highlight some of the (many) amazing Mothers in the country.
Now, don't get us wrong- if we could highlight all the amazing Moms we see both on the big screen or behind the scenes in Jamaica, the list would be endless. We love and respect ALL moms working against the odds and still finding time for their children.
However, we just wanted to shed light on some who we've been seeing lighting up the scene all while having some adorable toddlers back home:
1. Terri-Karelle Reid
You know we had to include our favourite (probably everyone’s too) girl on this list! Apart from being the most naturally energetic gal we know, Terri-Karelle is such an inspiring and loving mom who no matter what, takes the time out to interact with her daughter, Naima-Kourtnae who always has some interesting game she wants to play or a story she wants to share.

2. Amita Persaud-Webb
Fun-loving is what we have to say about this Mum who is always seen on Instagram dancing up a storm with her little one Avani. Joined at the hip, this mother-daughter pair is always seen together- at work, the supermarket and even on the road on Road March day. She documents every little cute thing Avani does and we love that she totes her along for the ride- both when she’s out and about or whenever she’s working.

3. Emprezz Golding
Other than always encouraging the nation’s youth to ‘Talk up’, we love this Mum because of how conscious she is about issues affecting our children. Even though she has her one adorable son Kush- who she’s taught from an early age to be equally as conscious as her- she’s easily a mother to all as she’s deeply involved in empowering children and youth through her “Talk up Yout” and “Ackee Walk” programmes.

4. Yendi Phillips
Yendi’s like Dance Mom but not in the crazy, reality TV-fashion. She’s literally: ‘the dancing Mum’. A daredevil, she’s the fun loving, scuba diving, horseback riding, parachuting and skiing on a Monday while others work kind of person. The tomboy but a girly-girl. We love this mom as she’s always on adventures with ‘Frick and Frack’ with her adorable daughter Izrael. It’s all about Iz and Dizz. “Daughters are built in besties” she always says.

5. Kamila McDonald-Alcock
There’s no denying Kamila’s undeniable love for health and wellness. We're sure she's a fitness inspiration to many women- especially with summer coming up! However, there’s also no denying the love shared between this Fitness Coach and TV host and daughter, Kailani Belle Alcock. Though this mom is always on the ‘run’, getting persons out and about at Kamp Kamila, she always has time for #LaniEpisodes!
