Seprod Group of Companies and the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) will tomorrow sign a five (5) year Memorandum of Understanding. The MOU, among other things will see Seprod offering internship opportunities to CASE students.

Seprod is seeking to deepen its cooperation with CASE by offering students the opportunity to develop practical skills in the agro-manufacturing sector. The internship will incorporate real world experience and the student’s in-class academic learning.

This initiative is an expansion of the programme as Seprod Group of Companies (St. Thomas Subsidiaries) has been offering internship opportunities to students prior to this. Seprod’s investment forms a part of the $5 billion spend that the company is undertaking for the next 3 years in the local manufacturing sector.

Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Karl Samuda will be delivering the keynote speech. CEO and Managing Director of the Seprod Group of Companies, Richard Pandohie and President of CASE, Dr. Derrick Deslandes will also be speaking at the event.

The signing will take place at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries on Old Hope Road at 11am.
