What?

The National Baking Company Foundation last month launched their early childhood education initiative - Little Leaders. The overall objective of this program is to improve the literacy of children between the ages of 3 and 6 while also placing a focus in the areas of math and science.

As part of the Little Leaders program, learning kits will be packaged and delivered to over 2500 early childhood institutions islandwide.

These kits will include :

Books

Play dough

Wooden blocks

Lacing beads

Puppets

Scissors

Glue sticks

Puzzles

Paint

Paint brushes

Balls

Where & When?

The Little Leaders Learning Kits will be packaged on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at The National Baking Company, 43  Half Way Tree Road ,Kingston 5 at 10am

Who?

Packaging of the Little Leaders Learning Kits will be done by the following persons:

-Mr. Gary ‘ Butch’ Hendrickson - CEO National Baking Company

-Senator Ruel Reid - Minister of Education, Youth and Information

-Mr. Floyd Green - Minister of State in the Ministry of Education,Youth and Information

-Mrs. Trisha Williams Singh - Chairman, Early Childhood Commission
