The Minister of Health and Wellness Dr. Christopher Tufton took to the streets of Spanish Town to launch the "Mask Up Before You Talk Up" initiative. This 6 week campaign will see community health aides visiting high traffic town centres across the island to remind individuals to protect themselves during the Christmas Season.
In speaking to Minister Tufton he shared that the holiday season poses a significant risk to public health as people get together to celebrate season. This , compounded by people coming into the island to spend time with family and friends from high risk Covid-19 countries, makes it especially important for the Ministry to ensure that there is constant communication from both a grass roots and high level.
